Looks like a clean package so far. Just don't clutter it up like I did to mine. 😎

Thanks Bill, but I can't promise anything about the clutter. I have a bad habit of letting beer make last minute decisions late at night...

So the axle I had mocked up in the wide glide was too short and barely hanging on but I thought I'd be alright until I got caught up with some customer bikes. Of course it was fine for the couple of weeks it sat buuut when I tried to stand it up to move it a bit...

After I lifted the bike off the ground and onto a jack, I decided to take a minute to work on front end mockup.

So with the 41mm narrow glide mocked up, I had a beer and stared at the bars. Then came to the conclusion that I didn't like how everything else on tge front end grossly dwarfed the 1" diameter handlebars. So I tried on my old 18" apes with the shorter 4.5" risers to see if I liked that any better.

I wasn't overly stoked on that setup either. So, I went back to the drawing board..

10 inch apes, 5 inch risers, bam! Oh, wait, that's my bike...
In any case I say some kinda ape.

I had an idea in my dome that had two riserless bar options that I thought would look good. The angle of the first put my wrists in a terrible position and didn't look great. The pull back with my lack of rake left the bar ends at an upward angle. I'll have the second option in the shop with tomorrow's UPS delivery. It looks and functions great in my dome but we'll see. I'll post some pictures then.

So the first set I tried was a set of Drag Specialties 1.25" diameter 14" Pullback T-Bars. The problems with that setup were that it had more pullback than I wanted and because of my shallow rake, the wrist angle was higher on the outside and I wasn't about to have that.

Apart from the excessive pullback and terrible wrist angle, I liked the setup. So, I decided to try the other option.

I ordered a set of Drag Specialties 1.25" diameter 12" 0 Pullback T-Bars and 2" LA Choppers chrome riser spacers.

This setup is perfect for the position and look I want on this bike. Now I'll get back onto the R&D for our 41mm narrow glide conversion.

Thanks you. I may get a wild hair up my ass and completely change everything 10 minutes before it's done but that's a long ways down the road yet...

A set of 41mm narrow trees with those bars would look good!

I've got shit in the works. We'll have kits ready to go from my shop after I finish doing the R&D here.
